Current Highest Scores. Below are the current high scores, accepted by the users (through voting). Scores where voting is still in progress are not shown. A high #z#-score means a very low probability of data above this #z#-score. For example, the figure below shows the probability of #z#-score above #2.6#. Probability for this is #0.47%#, which is less than half-percent. Note that if #z#-score rises further, area under the curve fall and probability reduces further.

Hi, If you need help making a high score chart on scratch this is how, first make you need to make some three variables. (score) (☁ high score today) (high scorer today) make sure that high score today is a cloud variable next you will need to make a way for the score to increase. You can do this by making a clicking game. When green flag clicked set score to 0 forever if then change score by (1) end end then for the high score part. Monkeybike123 wrote:try when green flag clicked forever if (item (1 v) of list v:: list) then insert (☁ highscore) at (1 v) of list v end endA list won't be updated for others to see when they run the project so I'm not sure what this achieves - all it does is show if your score is higher than the first item in the list as saved by the owner when they last saved the project unless you've run it without reloading in which case your previous score might also be there. No other user will see any changes and the highscore variable is potentially being written to the cloud by more than one user at once. If you run the project and the high score is reset to 0 so your score is the new high score how do I know, when I run it, whether the score is from the previous period or the current one? So I think you need to use a cloud variable to indicate when the score was last reset.True, if I were to make something like that, I'd simply use a spare server to run the project 24/7, and reset it every 24 hours xD Though I have to say, it would create more complications then there needs to be. You also have to account that 2 or more users may score same, and would race against each other's internet speeds to set the score. Scratch Wiki Contributor. Active Forum User. New goal: 500 posts.

The 100% functional version of this high score chart engine hasn't been solved in a simpler way, so why do you consider this an “old” topic? It is quite a bit dormant I agree, but if it hasn't been solved, it's not ‘necroposting’ as you explain. The solution may not appear in this topic but this has been dealt with repeatedly in this forum and is covered in wiki pages. The wiki page on Global High Scores referred to in one of the responses covers everything that is needed.
Cloud variable functionality has changed since the earlier posts in this topic so some of it may actually now be misleading - another problem with necroposting.
